Moesfa Soeheila
Mohamad has been a researcher at MIMOS Berhad
since 1997. One of her duties is to contribute to the cryptography standards
development and now she is the chairperson for WG/G/5-2 which is the Malaysian
mirror committee for ISO cryptography standards working group. Soeheila
obtained the Masters degree in Mathematics for Communications and Cryptography
from Royal Holloway College, University of London.
Abstract: ISO
develops standards for industries and includes information security standards.
Among the information security standards are standards on cryptography. This
talk will brief on the various types of cryptographic schemes that have been standardised. We
will also see how the standardisation
efforts follows the trends in ICT.
